Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination
April 25 2021, Exam Cancelled
TORONTO, ON— On April 1, 2021, the Ontario Legislature declared a 28-day province-wide “emergency break” that will go into effect on April 3, 2021 until April 30, 2021 (at the earliest) to help flatten the curve of the third wave of COVID-19 and its variants. Among the restrictions being put in place will be an outright prohibition of events and gatherings.
As a result of these impending restrictions, the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (the College) has no alternative but to cancel the April 25, 2021 session of the Ontario Prescribing & Therapeutics examinations.
The next scheduled session is June 27, 2021. Those registered for the April 25 session will be contacted by e-mail and provided with the ability to transfer their exam registration to the June session or obtain a refund of the examination fee paid.
A determination as to whether an additional session can be added to the Prescribing & Therapeutics Exam Schedule for 2021 will be made in the coming weeks as more information becomes available.
We understand that this news is disappointing for those preparing to sit the upcoming session and greatly appreciate your patience as we work to adjust exam operations again in light of today’s announcement.

Clinical (Practical) Examinations Announcement
May 2021 Exam Cancelled
TORONTO, ON—On April 8, 2021, the Ontario government enacted a province-wide 30-day stay at home order to help flatten the curve of the third wave of COVID-19.
On April 16, 2021, the Ontario Premier announced that the stay-at-home order would be extended until May 20, 2021 at the earliest.
Because of the stay-at-home order extension, the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (the College) has no choice but to cancel the May 16, 2021 session of the Ontario Clinical (Practical) Examinations.
Candidates registered for the May 16, 2021 session will receive additional information directly via e-mail regarding the July 18, 2021 exam, for which they will be automatically registered. Those who are unable to sit the exams in May will be provided with the option to withdraw and be reimbursed of their exam registration fees.
An additional autumn date has been added to the Clinical (Practical) Exams Schedule for 2021 to provide candidates seeking registration in Ontario with a fair opportunity to sit entry-to-practise examinations this year, despite ongoing exam schedule interruptions due to COVID-19.

Ontario Intravenous Infusion Therapy Examinations Announcement
April 16, 2021 Exam Cancelled
TORONTO, ON— On April 16, 2021, the Ontario Premier announced an extension to the 30-day province-wide stay-at-home order enacted on April 8, 2021 to help flatten the curve of the third wave of COVID-19 and its variants. This stay-at-home order will remain in effect until May 20, 2021 at the earliest.
As a result of these restrictions, the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (the College) has no alternative but to cancel the May 9, 2021 session of the Ontario Intravenous Infusion Therapy (IVIT) Examination.
Candidates registered for the May 9, 2021 session will receive additional information directly via email regarding their options for reimbursement or deferral.
