Duties | The Registration Committee is responsible for making fair and objective decisions regarding referred applications for registration and class changes applications, setting plans of exam remediation and reviewing currency. The Committee also makes reviews and makes policy recommendations to Council to ensure that the College’s registration practices remain relevant to the public interest, do not pose unnecessary barriers and comply with fair registration practice principles. |
Work volume | The Registration Committee meets 9 to 10 times per year for approximately a half day. A half-day of preparation time per meeting is also expected. |
Compensation | As set out in the Council’s Per Diem Policy. |
Knowledge base | As noted in the competency requirements set by the Council. |
Disqualifications | Registration Committee members may not sit on the PLAR Committee or on the Examination Appeals Committee. |
