Self-Reporting and Mandatory Reporting

Self and Mandatory Reporting are a couple of ways in which the College achieves its mandate of protecting the public. Naturopaths have a legal obligation under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 to report certain information to the College so that any incidents of possible professional misconduct, incompetence, or incapacity on the part of its registrants can be appropriately investigated and addressed.

This session provided an overview of self-reporting and other mandatory reporting requirements to the College and the processes in which reports are handled by the College.
