The College’s standards of practice build the legal and professional basis for the practice of naturopathy in Ontario. Each standard describes the expected level of performance for the profession and, together, form a framework for continuing competence among NDs.
Practice guidelines elaborate on these standards of practice, and provide recommendations on how to address specific practice-related situations in compliance with the rules, regulations and standards. Finally, professional policies are rules set by the College that govern the behaviour and performance of the profession of naturopathy.
This 90-minute interactive session offers you an opportunity to explore important questions about our standards of practice, guidelines, and policies, such as:
- What they are?
- What role does the profession play in the creation of these documents?
- How and when do updates to these documents occur?
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from and pose questions to our Professional Practice team, and get direct answers to the questions that impact your practice and how you practise the profession.
