A Virtual Volunteer Open House

Date: Wednesday September 21, 2022
Time: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Location: Virtual (video conference)
Cost:  Free

The College of Naturopaths of Ontario has over a hundred volunteers who work on Committees, complete assessments, conduct inspections among other activities for College programs. Even with that amount of support, we’re looking for more Registrants and members of the public to lend a hand. This latest In Conversation With is an opportunity to learn more about volunteering with the College, what’s entailed, and what volunteering can offer you.

The College’s Governance Committee is pleased to invite members of the public and Registrants alike to a hosted conversation with a panel of our volunteers to answer questions you might have, and to talk about their history of volunteering with the College and other organizations, why they volunteer with the College and how they’ve benefit from the experience.

“Volunteering is a two-way street that benefits both the organization you work with and the volunteer themselves”, says Hanno Weinberger, Chair of the Governance Committee of the College. Mr. Weinberger goes on to say that “there are so many opportunities to learn and grow and most importantly, to serve Ontarians. Our panel would enjoy this opportunity to provide information and answer your questions.”

This 90-minute interactive session will offer participants more information about volunteer opportunities at the College, the benefits these unique opportunities offer, the new and innovative approaches we’re taking to support our volunteers, and the chance to pose questions directly to the panel on their experiences and insight.

If you’d like to attend this event, please register in advance. Click here to register now.

Attendees are also invited to submit any questions in advance, which will allow our panel to answer more questions in greater detail. Click here to submit your questions.
