COVID-19 Vaccination Status Survey
Posted On: October 8, 2021
Recent events within the College’s activities have highlighted the impact vaccine mandates can have on our operations, without the College being responsible for the creation of the mandate. For example, recent Clinical (Practical) Examinations nearly had to be cancelled because of the implementation of a new policy at the location that hosts our exams. This policy, which seeks to comply with the new mandatory provincial directive for post-secondary institutions, requires people entering the facility to display either proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID-19 test.
In advising our volunteer team of this requirement, several of our examiners decided not to be involved. Only after extensive canvassing was the College able to recruit the minimum number of examiners needed. The increasing proof of vaccine requirements are expected to continue to impact the College moving forward.
In order to understand the potential impact on College operations and to be prepared for any eventuality in relation to the topic of vaccine mandates, the College is seeking some non-identifiable information from Registrants by conducting an anonymous survey of the profession.
All Registrants are asked to please complete this survey by no later than October 28, 2021.
